I've seen those in blister packs, and I believe I've seen ads for them in 1050s model airplane magazines (or maybe it was very early '60s). They might have been Hawk, or Strombecker, or some other maker, I don't remember.

It might be a Strombecker or Hawk kit.  I'm pretty certain one or both of those companies made go-kart kits at the height of their popularity in the early Sixties.

Strombecker I'm pretty sure. Pic was on my Scarab and DBR-1 boxes with an MGA and it.

Here's quick google pic.Nice find, Bigger than 1/24 I'm guessing?

Its definately bigger then 1.24,I have no idea on what I am going to do with it since its out of scale with any models I have. Its just out of a over 50 year storage.

I've got one as well; picked it up for a buck or two at a flea market years ago:

If I had to guess at the scale, I'd say maybe 1/12? Wheelbase is 4 5/8"; rims are 3/4" diameter. And I don't think mine ever had an electric motor.

I've got a Hawk go kart, very similar in design but has slightly fatter slick tires. That orange kart is neat, I've never seen one with a replica motor. The few kart models I've seen all had electric motors of some kind. If the Hawk mold exists Rd2 might have access to it, would be neat to see it out again.
