landman Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Just a small update, got a few details added. Some airlines and detail bolts. I'd like to try that someday. I have several schematics but I don't seem to be able to associate the schematics to what Sam and others are doing here. Maybe I'm too old.
gotnitro? Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Nice job adding the meng bolts and extra details to the 5th wheel ! I really like the added airlines, something I haven't tried yet..you make look so easy
Superpeterbilt Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Excellent work Sam! This is one of my favorite builds going on right now.
bigred63 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I like where this is going. Keep up the good work.
guitarsam326 Posted January 22, 2017 Author Posted January 22, 2017 Thanks a lot Fellas! Pat- i worked on trucks for several years so most of the plumbing is second nature to me, but believe me i left a lot of it off because it gets to be too much. There are several diagrams you can find on the ol interweb that will really help you out....with a little study time of course. You can always ask me if you get stumped on something though!Terry- thanks man, that means a lot!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Nice work Sam!! What do you use for lines and where do you get it?
guitarsam326 Posted January 23, 2017 Author Posted January 23, 2017 Thanks Brian! The larger wire is telephone wire, the smaller stuff is called wire wrap and you can get it off ebay or radio shack in assorted colors!
gatorincebu Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Moving right along and looking good as well ! Be Well Gator
Tesla Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 This has to be some of the best chassis detailing I've seen! I'm bookmarking this project for future reference...keep up the excellent work!
