Jon Cole Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 FYI, Moebius Models has posted on Facebook that they are in the path of Hurricane Matthew. They will be closed Friday, 10/7. As for the following week, that is a wait and see. They expect they will get behind, and ask for everyone's patience.
Tom Geiger Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I am running a conference in Jacksonville the week of October 17th! I hope it's still there!
my66s55 Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 They are closed Friday 10/7 because all of the Florida counties located in Mathews path have curfews. Their located within a half hour drive to the north of me. We're both in Volusia county and have a curfew starting at midnight tonight and ending at 7 a.m. Saturday. The heaviest brunt of the storm is due to hit my area around noon Friday.
ChrisBcritter Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Are you going to evacuate to someplace safer, I hope?
carman1 Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I wish you the best reguardless of what you do !
CometMan Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I wish Moebius, as well as everyone else in that area well!
Joe Handley Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I've talked to a few people in the safer areas of Florida, one guy is pretty sure abput half of the evacuees are now where he lives!
Art Anderson Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Let's put this in perspective just a bit: Revell's offices (even the warehouse of their corporate owner Hobbico!), along with Round2 and even Moebius' product development guy Dave Metzner are ALL in Tornado country, folks. And before their buyout by Monogram back nearl 30 years ago, Revell was in both tsunami territory (Venice CA) and earthquake land as well. Now, we all know what happened to each of these--NOTHING whatsoever, as of yet in the way of natural disasters.Art
