rv1963 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Wow that is one awesome Mustang, there is nothing about it I don't like, great paint, lots of details, super clean build.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Fine looking model, and certainly one to be proud of. It looks like somebody stole your driveshaft though, and the gearbox in the model represents a manual, while the "B&M Hydro Stick" that's advertised on the body of the car is actually an automatic, based on the old GM Hydramatic. The SWC gang used one to good advantage in the Willys cars, too. I hope you don't take this as criticism, because it's NOT. It's a great looking model, and I'd be very happy to have something on my own shelf that looks that good.
LoneWolf15 Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 Lol ! Since the photos were taken , the driveshaft was installed as were the battery cables and the ignition box . As for the tranny , it now has a manual , the boys in the shop got fed up with the promises of sponsor money that never came to fruitation and tore the automatic out . The dimbulb builder lent no credence to the rear splash pan having to be cut to accommodate the riser blocks for the rear end to allow the rear tires clearance . It had to be cut after the paint work was completed which added a few more white hairs but was accomplished with little or no fuss ...........

DumpyDan Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Great looking Stang, really like the stance detail, oh well the whole thing.....That's a beauty
Sledsel Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 I Love it!!!! Took a moment to figure what kit this was. Looks awesome and the details a superb. The paint is awesome.I must point out a few technical issues tho. Your valve covers are backward. The squared end goes to the front for the cam gear clearance. Also, the oil pan is backwards, the sump should be in the front for the oil pump clearance. They did make a shallow front pan with a rear sump for these issues. This is not meant as a criticism, just an FYI. I have done similar things in the past with makes I did not know better about.
geordie Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Awesome, I love it !! What kit was the basis for this model?
Dann Tier Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Don't know how I missed this. VERY nice job!! Well done on the kit grille as well!!
