landman Posted September 2, 2018 Author Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) I discovered he had forgotten to make up an exhaust system. The owner told me the running boards will be wood with a wooden molding along the edge. Added spare tire and tailight/licence plate. Edited December 3, 2020 by landman
landman Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 (edited) Reducing images for grille shell emblem and headlight lenses. Edited December 3, 2020 by landman
Eric Macleod Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 I am looking forward to seeing the finished product!
landman Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Â 25 Dodges have a triangular plate with a vertical post to hold the headlights to the fenders. Some, including the subject car have a cross bar as well. The Ford fenders are not allowing me to duplicate the bracket faithfully so I cheated and mounted the headlights on vertical stanchions with a cross bar. Edited December 3, 2020 by landman
misterNNL Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 the owners real '25 Dodges are going to be really outraged that you cheated on that detail. You should accept the fact that hate mail will follow:)

landman Posted September 16, 2018 Author Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) The Dodge is done. Getting the once over in the shop. Getting loaded onto the trailer. Outside the shop in the afternoon and at dusk. Â Edited December 3, 2020 by landman
Eric Macleod Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Glad it cleared the garage door opening! Looks great Pat. Worth the wait I hope?
misterNNL Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Don't you love it when a plan comes togeather !
landman Posted September 16, 2018 Author Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) Thanks guys. looks like I'm not quite done. the owner of the 1:1 reminded me of the sun visor. He also said he is planning to install a whole wheel as a spare and not just the rim. Says he doesn't like the looks of the rim by itself. Edited November 8, 2018 by landman

The bulk of the rain just stopped a couple of hours ago, but still rain showers. There are several roads flooded including the road between me and my mother-in-laws. We live less than a mile off of High Rock Lake. The Yadkin river feeds the lake and the forecast is for the South Yadkin to crest at 33 feet above flood stage. That's why I'm still up, I've been trying to figure out how high my house is above lake level. It looks like about 40 feet. Praying that there is no more flooding! Thanks for asking!
Foxer Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Beautiful! It was a pleasure watching this come together.

I know this is after the fact. But when this thread was fresh, I knew there was a turtledeck in a kit that is very close in size and shape, but couldn't recall at the time which one. So for anyone looking to do something similar, look in the Lindberg 34 (really a 32) Ford Roadster pickup kit.
