dusterman Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 I believe the Dodge Brothers and Henry Ford was still close as he was a pall bearer at least for one of the brothers, if not both. They died pretty close together, but I can't remember who passed first.

landman Posted May 30, 2018 Author Posted May 30, 2018 (edited) Nice day today so I hopped into the Mustang and drove 60 miles to visit the owner of the 1:1 and the shop it is being worked on. Didn't bargain on 25 of those miles being a construction site with 3 stops in 90 degree heat in a black vinyl interior convertible. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable ride. Body is ready to paint. Went to his home and checked the upholstery. Should be able to do that while I wait for the paint. He ordered a spray can for touch ups and will lend it to me for the model. The treatment of the top involves a very sophisticated method called black textured duct tape. The only thing wrong with it is I couldn't find the grain I was looking for.
