Quick GMC Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Came across this. The new Scale Motorsport 3D printed wheels would be great for this build.
Exotics_Builder Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Nice. But I am thinking of homage to this one:
Snake45 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Someone? Why not you? Go for it!That IS a very clean looking car. I like it!
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Still streetable, but a little more brutal...
Belugawrx Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Those are all gorgeous!!!! I'm kinda partial to this
1930fordpickup Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 You can change the wheels all you want, can't change the ugly of the GTO.
PARTSMARTY Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I'd love to build a few of these-great car.
Snake45 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Those are all gorgeous!!!! I'm kinda partial to this I'm going to do something similar soon on a Polar Lights '64, I hope.
espo Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 You can change the wheels all you want, can't change the ugly of the GTO. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think that there may be more people that like the '65 GTO than don't. Those wheels would complement almost any vehicle, but then I am prejudice on the wheels and the GTO. Pegasus offers similar wheels, but are used with only very low profile tires. While have used them and really like how they look, they don't always work with say a '60s thru '70s type build. So to have something like this with say a 60 or 70 series aspect ratio tire would be great in my humble opinion
Snake45 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 You can change the wheels all you want, can't change the ugly of the GTO. The '65 GTO isn't the most beautiful car ever built, but it's a long way from "ugly." I'd call it "ruggedly good looking," or something along those lines.
dodgefever Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 If i was to build one. That's more like it. 14" or 15" wheels, max.
D. Battista Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 The '65 GTO isn't the most beautiful car ever built, but it's a long way from "ugly." I'd call it "ruggedly good looking," or something along those lines. Well put...!
