caine440 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I am calling this one done.I messed up a few things but overall I am happy with it. Thanks for looking.
Daddyfink Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Wow, that is a stunner! Great detail and finish! Which kit did you use for this one?
JerseyRed Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 It might not be perfect but it looks pretty darn good! I certainly can't pick out anything major wrong with it.
Snake45 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 It might not be perfect but it looks pretty darn good! I certainly can't pick out anything major wrong with it. That's exactly what I was going to say about it!
Codi Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 I was always a sucker for any of the Motown Missile cars as a kid. Nice job on it. cheers, tim
caine440 Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 Thank you all. It is a Reliable Resin body and I used the new Revell Sox & Martin Cuda as a donor. The hood I made from other resin parts. The decals are Mike Coleman and Slixx along with a MAD distributor.
Dodge Driver Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 The stance is just perfect, to my eye. You've made a fine representation of the original!
nitro norman Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Good Job ! I've heard a lot of bad things about Reiable Resin. Did you have any problems with them ?
10thumbs Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Hi Roger,I thought at first the rear end was too high, but the real pics show I was wrong. A great looking model and your detailing looks spot on. Paint looks really fine and the car looks as if it's ready to pull the wheels......Great work again, compliments.
madhorseman Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I am calling this one done.I messed up a few things but overall I am happy with it. Thanks for looking. And very NICELY done! I must say!
bogger44 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Another great build, Roger.....just as you always do. That paint looks fabulous.
gtx6970 Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Very nice. Not that i expected anything less. I picked up a decent mpc 70 challnger for the sole purpose to build this car
caine440 Posted December 22, 2016 Author Posted December 22, 2016 Thank you all.It was a few months after I got the body looking the way I wanted it to that I found a nice MPC body and was lucky enough to get my order in to modelhaus before they closed for all the chrome bits. I am planing a Landy Challenger for it. I have a 71 MPC Challenger from back when I was a kid that is still in good shape. Not sure what I will do with it yet, just saving it for now.
