For a X-mas speedbuild on a Swedish forum....

60+ parts....seems legit for a speedbuild.....

Didn't like the 2-piece molded in grey plastic tyres in the kit so swapped them for, I think, Revell 41 Chevy pickup in front and maybe Little red wagon (?) in the rear.

Failed at the paintjob and to be honest I feel that the best idea probably is to go oldschool and brush paint this.....I have gotten good results with gloss black enamel before, so....

The silly chassis, I think I made more realistic looking stuff out of Lego in grade school....

Considering how well the rest of the car captures the look of the original, I can only guess that AMT was in a big hurry to get this one into the stores.

Looks like a fun build, all the same.

Looks like a clean build, too.

Yeah, you could go nuts on it and add this and that... but that's the cool thing about this hobby. You don't have to go mad with expensive multimedia kits or $ in extra detail parts to make your but old your own.

Didnt this come with a coffin on wheels as well?

I have this and the Dragula in my stash.I'm interested to see how it turns out. Are you "the" Captain Tuttle? Serial number 397-299-66.
Graduated from Berlinisches Polytechnikum?

Agree entirely. Redid my chassis and swapped taillights with the Dragula.
