belfast boyo Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 An older build of mine... I finished this beasty today, the front was cut off to form a flip front and the bonnet was blended into the wings and front panel, the hood scoop is the cockpit cover from a rail dragster.I had to fabricate a new bulkhead for it and the rear bumper was blended into the body. Also I made new chassis rails from brass box section and created ventilated discs from scratch. The engine is a Ferrari V12 and has twin turbo's.The shell was sprayed Ford crystal blue and cleared with Halfords polyurethane clear and the chromework was foiled too.
geetee66 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Very classy looking ride. Cleanly built and nicely finished.Your paint came out well. I swear by Halfords paint! Their custom mixes work well, too.top job
espo Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Very nice clean build. I like the flip front end, somewhat like a Corvette.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Very creative on that Corvette style hood. Nice work!
