Hello!

This is my almost box stock club project.

I tried to achieve some sixties mild custom touch into this one.

An AMT kit with some minor modifications and detailing, Pegasus wheel / hubcap combo and tyres.

Paint: tamiya, hand painted scallops, some extra BMF work to the top to achieve brushed steel look.

I agree with Bob. You really captured the mid '50's look. The roof treatment is exceptional. Interesting hood treatment. I have seen several was to modify these styling items, but never like this. I have always thought that the style of scallops at that time really accentuated the basic body and trim lines.

Wow I didn't notice those intakes in the hood earlier! Very cool idea. I might copy that someday...

Thanks for comment. I wanted to try some new methods in painting and bmf work on this model and I wanted to build a 57 bel air with Buick grille insert so here it is.
