ranma Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 O.K. I placed a bid on his 66 Impala wagon ( I Love wagons) raised around them. My family owned Pontiac wagons until 1987.

Oh, I did finally receive the SE kit. One e-mail or a simple handwritten "Thank You" note with the kit would have left a much different impression.John Edited March 31, 2017 by john sharisky text
ranma Posted April 2, 2017 Author Posted April 2, 2017 I bidded on the 66 Impala wagon, But lost it, Then opened a bid on a 63 Impala wagon , and lost it to the same person as the 66 wagon. I then waited till the last minutes to bid on a 63 Nova wagon ( which had 0 bids) , and I did win that one. I'll let everyone know how it looks when it get's here to me.
carrucha Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Last year I bought his 1959 Chevy wagon on ebay. Decent casting but the interior does not seem to fit too well so it going to take some work to get it to fit. Also his resin kits do not come with glass so it will have to be made from clear sheet styrene.
ranma Posted April 2, 2017 Author Posted April 2, 2017 (edited) Yes I know that they don't come with glass. On the 63 Nova wagon i'll have to supply the following: Engine, steering wheel, tires, wheels, axle's and the glass. Pictures of his casting that he showed of the Nova wagon look very good, But I won't really know untill I get it in the mail. Edited April 2, 2017 by ranma
MrObsessive Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 I have a couple of Jeff's resin kits and while they are not what I would call "Modelhaus quality" (The Standard), IMO they're very good for the price you're paying. No pinholes, no flash, no warpage. The models I have are his '71 Riviera, and '71 Olds Delta 88. The Riviera while nice, is slightly inaccurate in its roofline. No doubt due to the original master, and not due to molding quality. He offers no plated parts so you'll have to send 'em out, or "Molotow" paint them. So, I have no complaints from this quarter about his items...........He's got a certain Corvair that I've been watching from time to time, I may spring for that one down the road!
ranma Posted April 7, 2017 Author Posted April 7, 2017 Got the '63 Nova wagon today, And it's a very nice casting of the amt 63 nova wagon kit. Very clean with only the axle holes and bumper hole to clean out.
GMCMAN52 Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 I had to wait a year and a half for my 63 fords. fair price good casting but the service for the finish product I could live without.
ranma Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 63 Nova Wagon from t.m.resin via ebay. When I got it and what it looks like now.
dimaxion Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 63 Nova Wagon from t.m.resin via ebay. When I got it and what it looks like now. What a great build .. Thanx ..
IceMan Collections Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 I've personally never had a problem. Always get them within a week. We even traded some bodies.
Curt Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 Anybody know what happened to T.M.? Nothing on eBay since late last year and I heard a rumor that he was seriously ill.
dimaxion Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 I know he is ill . How bad, I don;t know . I'll try to find out .. Thanx
Curt Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Thanks, John. I hope he’s ok and can get back to what he does so well.
