Completed last night.  This was a terrible kit to get together.  AMT from back in the day, every part needed massaging of some sort.  No positive locations for any of the chrome, bumpers, etc.  Still I'm pleased with the way it came out.  This is the first in a project where I intend to build all 7 generations of Corvettes.  I have all the kits in hand except a C7, waiting to see if a full detail glue kit comes out.  If not the Revell curbside will do.  Thanks for looking, comments welcome!

....I sure like this, Bruce....and I know what you mean about the kit being  a little tough  to get everything together to ones liking....I have 2 original MPC 56/57 Corvette '8 in 1' kit's I have been itching to build, and seeing yours  give's me that inspiration....nice work there....best,  the Ace...;)

Great looking build, especially considering the kit. I've given up on two and only use them for parts now.

Turned out fantastic considering what you went through!! -I have this kit too, and thought it looked like a nightmare to me,  then again, I think most AMT kits are a nightmare.

Great looking build. Those early AMT kits were tough for sure. You did a great job on it though!

Looks great. So this isn't the 90's tooling?

This is the old MPC '60's tooling-----thus the fiddly nature of how it goes together. I have the 1/16 scale version of this car, and it's just as fiddly as this one despite the larger scale.
