Jaguar man 21 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I finished this one up yesterday morning and I'm beyond proud of how it turned out! The decals were defanitly tricky but they came out pretty decent.
espo Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Really captures the look of these outstanding race cars. Just a thought on the hood. Have you considered opening the vents on the hood bubble ??

shoopdog Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I've been working on my 64 Fairlane for what seems like an eternity now. Had to strip it and repaint it after trying to do the chrome with a Molotow pen. Dreading the foiling, which it looks like you did a very good job on. Anyway your Thunderbolt looks great.
moparfarmer Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 You should be very proud of your job..You've done an excellent job on a finiky kit..Be proud, very proud....
gtx6970 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Looks good. Probably one of my favorite kits to build (have 6 done so far and counting )
Brutalform Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Looks fantastic. I’d be proud too. Funny you had problems with the decals. I thought these decals, out of the box, were the best I’ve ever used. I suppose we all have a trying decal day....

I tried a set and ended up stripping them, and going with Alclad. The pens are great for trim though.
