Reuhkapelti Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 This one started to build up, when I needed some rough vehicle to tow the T@b OffRoad caravan. I took the big axles from a monster pickup and the engine between the front seats is taken from Buick GNX. It's a V6 turbocharged and intercooled. The watercooler is in the back, where the original engine used to sit. The aircleaner can be seen behind the VW logo. On the roof is a solar panel, tv-antenna and two spare wheels. Inside you can find a refrigerator, flat tv and something good to eat.
iamsuperdan Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 That is excellent!I think I want a 1:1 version!
espo Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Beautiful build. The extras that you added like the roof rack an interior really are great. I like all the red suspension bits, some wild angles on the universal joints. To bad the engine is covered I'm sure it's just as nice.
donb Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Very cool build. Nice touch on all the details!
shoopdog Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Looks awesome, and steak, potatoes, and carrots for dinner!
Roger U Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Now that's different. Great details. Very cool.
Davewilly Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Thats pretty cool! Nice job and great details
Reuhkapelti Posted September 19, 2017 Author Posted September 19, 2017 Thank you all ! This one was fun to build. I only wish I could have it in 1:1 as I have that T@b for my summer caravan journeys.
Reuhkapelti Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 Thanks again! DumpyDan, the T@b is all scratch built by me. There's some photos of it here at this site at page 16 or so.
