Other than kits intended as curbside,  I will occasionally build a curbside,  or box stock build of I habe sent a lot of time and energy on a project.  Helps satisfy the need to finish something as most of my projects take so long with limited time at the bench these days.

I enjoy building curbside stuff, if I think I can generate enough visual interest. In fact,  I think most of my builds are curbside, since most dragsters, especially with bodies on them don't have much of anything to look at, on their bottoms.

The older I get the more emphasis I place on the visual impact my finished models have when on display. The last three I finished this year were pretty heavily detailed Race Of Gentlemen style speedsters with no fenders,exposed suspension systems,etc. As I put the finishing details on the last one I thought how nice it would be work on something that didn't have so much exposed detail evident. Therefore my next build may be a curbside.
