Ace-Garageguy Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 Maybe I ought to build some curbsides. Maybe I just might finish one.

Modelbuilder Mark Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Other than kits intended as curbside, I will occasionally build a curbside, or box stock build of I habe sent a lot of time and energy on a project. Helps satisfy the need to finish something as most of my projects take so long with limited time at the bench these days.
Straightliner59 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I enjoy building curbside stuff, if I think I can generate enough visual interest. In fact, I think most of my builds are curbside, since most dragsters, especially with bodies on them don't have much of anything to look at, on their bottoms.
misterNNL Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 The older I get the more emphasis I place on the visual impact my finished models have when on display. The last three I finished this year were pretty heavily detailed Race Of Gentlemen style speedsters with no fenders, exposed suspension systems, etc. As I put the finishing details on the last one I thought how nice it would be work on something that didn't have so much exposed detail evident. Therefore my next build may be a curbside.
randyc Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 In the case of my latest build, DROPPING it has made me "curbside" it. LOL.
