Finished this up a little bit ago; built from AMT's Ranger Splash with a surf board from the '41 Ford wagon, Ecto-1A light bar, LEGO rescue cans, scratchbuilt rack & toolbox, and custom decals

Very nicely done and the home made decals look perfect. The only aside might be the license plate. In California such a vehicle would usually have an "E" plate. The E would have been in a triangle at the start of the plate number to show that it was owned by a municipality of some sort. Very nice paint job on this.

Thanks, guys!

Good point, thanks for the suggestion!  I usually try to correct details like that as I'm building, but in this case I didn't even think about it and just copied the markings of one of the on-screen trucks, generic prop plates and all.  I'll keep that in mind for the sequel!

But for the Tv version its correct,  remember, this is a TV build, not a real life build,  and you know how TV and Movies always get all the details correct

Nice work! I love a well done light commercial model!

I remember a while back someone built a model of a Middletown, NJ police car.  They had a New Jersey  county plate on it and someone chose to criticize that it should have a municipal plate on it... nope!  Back then the county bought the cars and leased them to the towns.  So the cars all had county plates on them!

I appreciate your concern about my remark to  Bill Spencer about the license plate. My mentioning the type of plate was not meant to criticize but to only offer additional information that he may or may not have knowledge of. He acknowledge my comment and seemed to acknowledge it in the manor that it was offered. He strived very hard to replicate a TV vehicle and went into such great detail I thought he would appreciate the information just as I would.  Like my mother always said "if you cant' say something nice don't say anything at all"

It's usually a detail I try to get even if Hollywood doesn't, I just missed it this time.  Like when I built my Deadpool taxi, I corrected the screen prop to an actual NYS T&LC design:

Well done. Need some female eye candy though.

Gotta work on my figure painting skills first...at this point, I fear the results would be closer to "Eldritch Abomination" than "Eye Candy" :D
