carsntrucks4you Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Down under sunday morning is comeing up so the quiz ends now. I though that this one would be an easy one, but some wrong answers came in. This ugly beast is a 1978 Stutz Blackhawk Edited November 3, 2017 by carsntrucks4you
peteski Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I think I have a Hot Wheels model that looks very similar. Ugly thing!
Pete J. Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 All you need is some 6" platform shoes, bell bottoms in gold lama, a leopard jacket, and a wide brimmed fedora and "You be Fly, man".
DonW Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 The opposite of last weeks car - for me, this is horrible on every level and all too easy. If only I could forget it!Thanks Michael for raising a chuckle.

Pete J. Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Between this and the Zimmer, these are cars that are best forgotten. The 70's were a bad time for cars all around!
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 The interesting thing (to me) is that the ORIGINAL design of this car, shown below, was done by Virgil Exner and was quite beautiful, in an over-the-top kind of way. The two-tone pimped-out monstrosity shown at the TOP of this thread was the SECOND design, and every line, panel and detail had been changed by some no-talent hacks who thought they could "improve" Exner's work.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 By the time the THIRD generation 4-door came along, it was a total and complete turd.
Pete J. Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 I have to agree with Bill. The split window design with the well integrated(tapered) grill has a very nice look to it. Too bad the lines were so hacked up. I never knew that the split window existed. Thanks Bill
