Erik Smith Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 There is a flurry of high value models and resin kits being listed on eBay this morning for ridiculously low “buy-it-now” prices. Each seller is different, all are from China, but descriptions seem to be individually typed and in good English. Too good to be true? Uh, free shipping too? Yeah, right. There are scams regularly on eBay, but this one seems peculiar because of the subjects, each listed by a different new seller (with 0feedback) and from China. Somebody knowledgeable about kits made the listings but the prices are ludicrous.
Pete L. Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Fellas, It's a scam, trust me. Out of curiosity I bought one and immediately E-bay notified me that the item was no longer available and that Paypal would be returning my monies... Edited November 3, 2017 by Pete L.
Rob Hall Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) These are fake listings. There was a thread on the fake China postings a while back here. Fake sellers that take photos from ended auctions and then post them. Edited November 3, 2017 by Rob Hall

Ace-Garageguy Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I am going to send them some tips on how to make it more believable...just kidding. Might suggest they call the Buick an Invicta instead of "Invocation" for a start...
vamach1 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 If it sounds to good to be true it is a SCAM. NEVER buy from anyone anywhere with little or no feedback.
cobraman Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I'm going to buy them with the money I am getting from a Nigerian Prince. .
peteski Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 We have discussed this on another thread in this forum not too long ago. These are scams and I report the listing like those to eBay. They usually pull them in less than a day.
