afx Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Don't believe I've ever seen this box art before - very cool.
Renegade Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 If memory serves, box art was a lot more interesting in the sixties and seventies. A lot of it showed the vehicle in a scene of some kind.
Snake45 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I've seen it before--on the box ends of the '69 annual. Always cool to see Don Greer box art, though. http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/1961-1970/amt-1969-chevy-flee/cci09032008600003.html
espo Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 The garage looks as big as the house and your headed to the track to play with your Altered. Seems perfectly normal to me.
unclescott58 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Never seen that one before... Me neither. But, I like it.
disabled modeler Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Very cool..! I know some of you couldn't care less about the box arts but me...I love the old ones...like to find some.
Snake45 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Why?Exactly. We don't even know if he's moving. He might just be looking around trying to find his headlights.
BigTallDad Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 I think I'd prefer to see a photo of a completed kit, rather than an artist's rendering.
High octane Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 While I'm not big into "box art," there are some model car kit boxes that do grab my attention more than most. And that is what the manufacturers want, is to grab the attention of potential buyers.
