Actually, Jon, I was talking specifically about the volume of those 1st-gen GM S-series truck kits, and how many they ran through those molds (assuming the aluminum story is even true).  IIrc, think it was allegedly the Stealth/3000 and those first square S-series that were from aluminum tools, and all that followed came from steel.

Have some difficulty imaging millions of those first-gen GM trucklets sold, you see - particularly when R/M came to the party with theirs in 1/25.

My Mistake CK, I misunderstood you.

I don't believe the first gen S-10/Sonoma were ever reissued, even in an alternative version (eg the CHP Explorer Sport, TXDPS Camaro, and MISP Grand Cherokee).

I've never had one of the GMC kits, but I do remember building the S10 kit back in the day...molded in bright red w/ lots of sink marks..the wheels and tires seemed oversized.

I need another '57 Chevy kit like a hole in the head...but the shelf space is already cleared for one more...

Same here. I'm hoping the decal sheet has the black hood stripes from the first-issue Pepper Shaker.

Yeah I like a lot of the subjects they did and would love them in a larger scale, but the Lindberg kits just look a bit toylike from what I've seen on Google.
