426 pack Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) It is a revell 359 peterbilt that I’m building for the 2018 cannonball run community biuld: it will be shortened into a day cab, three turbos with water to air intercooler on a 3406 cat engine, 4 fuel tanks, custom interior with a roll cage and much more. Here are some mock-up pics as I can’t start building until January 1st but I want to know what you guys think of it. Edited February 14, 2018 by 426 pack

1930fordpickup Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Not sure why you don't want the sleeper. It would be easier for the co pilot to sleep if they could lay down.
Force Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Interesting. I just replied to your engine question in the Truck Stop section.
426 pack Posted January 11, 2018 Author Posted January 11, 2018 Got some work done on it. I shortened the frame, mocked up the fuel tanks, built the intake and decided to run the sleeper. what is the little tank on the drivers side that I have circled? let me know what you think.
DrKerry Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Not sure on the Pete’s but smaller tanks like that were power steering reservoirs... It’s not an air cleaner as they are bigger in size of course!!!!

Some Peterbilts had both a Luberfiner and the power steering reservoir mounted in this location.
426 pack Posted February 14, 2018 Author Posted February 14, 2018 Painted the engine today. I still need to detail it and do some touch up some spots here and there. Let me know what you think.
gatorincebu Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Looks like you are making some headway ! Be Well Gator

Dad had one that was set-up like that. Power steering and oil filter on the same side, can not remember what order they were in.

A lot of the ones I've seen are quite different in size (oil filter vs power steering reservoir)
