I’ve learned a thng or two also - but my geography is still dismal - wedding was in North Adams - 

steering wheel - which had been sitting in a parts bag for too long - is finally installed …

Tire treads need some unpaved road course muck - i’ve mixed a stew of two paints that military modelers use alot - with some added pumice - just brushed it on and toweled off the excess …

The cable wire is fastened - glued - into a couple of RB Motion banjo fasteners -

the fasteners are then bolted

to a couple of nickel silver “guides” that slip into the eyelets in the two levers …

the exhaust pipes were made from equal lengths of .092 copper tube - just over 2 inches in scale- each has a slight bend - after they were annealed -

The pipes are held at  the ends by a bracket that bolts on to the pegs that secure the tips of the friction shocks -  my initial stab at this part was …. A turkey …  a device made from nickel rod that just wasn’t spec - the correct part is visible in this picture peaking out from behind the tire ..

So the spec part is a 2 peice affair made from some .030 Evergreen sheet and and some  brass channel - w some plastic guides glued into the channel to grasp the pipes …

Made some if the suspension nuts with this Plastuct six sides .060 rod  - drill, cut, attach, and paint …

the pipes follow the sweep of the body lines - totally impractical but really cool …

Radiator screen installed - it sits in two brass slots at the base and is glued to two small pegs at the top - so it sits about 3/4 scale inch clear of the rad shell …
