Yeah, I saw that and commented as you can see and of course, right? B)

The 4A-GE motor is a fun motor in real life so it would be in scale and this guy is MENTAL!

Oh and Bill is just crazy.

I think he is building 1/12th scale if I gauge it right. Beautiful work regardless. Not insane... unless it is actually 1/24th.... <_<

I'm impressed with his craftsmanship, but I have to wonder why anyone would put so much time and effort into things that will never be seen again once the model is finished. What's the point, really? I say put that effort into parts of the model that'll be VISIBLE when finished.

Wow! That is VERY impressive!! ;)

I do have to agree with Harry though............'tis a shame to do all that work only for it to be hidden by the head, hood, etc.

No, I won't be trying anything like that anytime soon!

Maybe he just enjoys the building. Why do some people detail the undersides when the model is just going to sit on a shelf?

Because THEY know it's there.

My point exactly. He demonstrates his skills through his in process posts. Though I have no where near the skills shown by him, and for that matter, most of the "regulars" who post on this site, I just plain enjoy the building.
