Revell kit with Fujimi/Testors wheels and tires, and headlights and rock guards. Scratch made exhaust and the rear wheel openings put back to OEM shape (the kit comes with them radiused). Engine wired and detailed up.

Probably the best job I've ever seen anyone do on that less-than-stellar ancient Revell Speedster kit. I've got a couple on the shelf, pull one out occasionally to look at it, see how bad it is, and put it away again.

The old Porsche racers still looked just like that deep into the 1970s, when I got out. Simple roll bars, etc.

The Flintstone 550 kit has some issues as well, but you did a nice job on that one too.

Good looking models. :D

Great job on both little Porsches! Did you use '58 Impala taillights on the 356?

No those are the kit taillights actually. The the kit head lights were a big chrome disk with faint headlight prism markings and a big pin mark right in the middle...

Thanks, the wheels and tires and the headlights are the worst with this kit. The flash was terrible too. The Fujimi parts make all the difference, the kit engine is basic but with a little love looks pretty good. And you always have to make the seatbelts nice on a roadster...
