Wonderfull 356 engine

Hi,

As I finally start to feel better after one month of being sick, I find myself able to start building again.

Was wondering if any knows were I can get this awesome engine?

I had an email address of gion@giovannicastello.it which got bounced.

Glad your feeling better Brian.  IIRC it is a photo-etch set for the Fujimi 356 engine.  I believe it is out of production.

If you Google "gdetailfactory" it should pull up quite a few hits, one of which might lead to an available set.

Didn't it also had something to do with Geronimo Works? I vaguely remembers that Gio guy was from Geronimo, they also released a Renault 5 Turbo.

I don't think so.  I thought Geronimo Works was out of Hungary or environs, not Italy.

Hi,

After some research, I found that the PE is part of a larger KA Models detail set for the Fujimi 356.

I did contact Upscale Hobbies who got back to me quickly which I liked.  They can get it so I am mulling this one over.

However as with anything from KA, it's tad over a Benjamin.  The PE heads/fins are really what I'm excited about.

I just bought this one on eBay from Firerods in Holland. Appears based on the Fujimi.

Would that be the Carerra-spec motor?  I am thinking about using one in a Monogram 904.
