CapSat 6
This one is at the Simeone Foundation Museum in Philadelphia. When I was there, they were offering raffle tickets for $25 each for rides in this car! The Simeone is the site of the upcoming Philly NNL. He occasionally drives to a Cars & Coffee and I got to ride in on the pace lap @ Summt Point. Pics are on another computer but he also owns this SAfir GT40 that I got to take for a spin. The 2nd GT40 is owned by another gentleman Howard. He built it himself. Edited February 26, 2018 by vamach1
The Junkman
Another nice addition is this one: https://www.amazon.com/Shelby-American-Racing-History-Friedman/dp/0760303096/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519672933&sr=8-1&keywords=shelby+american+racing+history Nice detailed overview of Cobras, Sunbeam Tigers, prototypes, Trans Am efforts. I've reached the point where I have to touch any new volume to decide whether to add it to the pile or not. There's a lot of overlap between the various books. With just Cobra, Shelby, and GT40 I think I've got close to 30 soft cover and hard cover books.
vamach1
Amen to that. I am glad I bought this one when it came out and got Pete to sign it. I think it was at SAAC 25.

Not likely I'll be able fill this cap unless they see fit to doing another printing.
Greg Myers
Worth every penny. Ya gotta get em when they first come out.
Greg Myers
This new one is really interesting and doesn't rehash all the old stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Pilote-Ed-Hugus-Story/dp/1854432834/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519691833&sr=8-1&keywords=cobra+Pilote
Greg Myers
Another new one by Dave Friedman, Shelby's photographer, a little more affordable too. https://www.amazon.com/Shelby-American-Close-Behind-Scenes/dp/0760351988/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1519692313&sr=1-1&keywords=Shelby+American+up+Close Edited February 27, 2018 by Greg Myers
Greg Myers
These are well worth the price http://www.cobracountry.com/CCMkt-fotos/CCMkt-museumcolldaytcpe.html
randyc
I have one of these. They sure look good on shelf even at 1/32. And with the Monogram Grand Sports, even better. My buddy & I had some epic battles with these. http://www.electricdreams.com/Shop/monogram-slot-cars-monogram-cobra-coupe-c-168_17_98.html?zenid=0f9c69af67d06f61fcc4ab7a33c1d567 Shame Monogram didn't see fit to enlarge it to fit on the Cobra chassis. randyc
Exoto made/makes a die cast too in 1/18 - very nice if you got the money... But prices aren't going higher, so that's good. https://www.ebay.com/i/222504648388?chn=ps&fl=a

I really like mine. https://www.diecastmodelswholesale.com/1965-shelby-cobra-daytona-coupe-blue-98-1-18-diecast-model-car-by-shelby-collectibles/ Edited March 2, 2018 by magicmustang

Not bad and even cheaper. Like $20. But I would like to build one myself. Would look good with my 3 Accurate Miniatures Gs vettes.
