This project is looking great so far! I dig the headlights and other modifications, looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Looks real cool, good luck with the rest of the build/mods.

Thank you, this thing has been a pain. The only thing I haven't cut up are the doors.

That is looking pretty darn cool. The nose looks like it could have been a design sketch for the '63-'65 Riviera.

It's weird you say that, I have a MM I started and never liked my headlight idea (I'm jealous of Pats grill and lights). I pass a Riv with the hidden headlights on the way to a friends house and said to myself they would be perfect on a MM.

I've been planning to build one that way for about a decade now. If you beat me to it, I'll get to see how it looks.

If you start one , maybe Dave will dig his hatchback version out?

I found it, but one a pillar is broken. then again I'm used to fixing them about a dozen times on a build like this. I don't think I have the glass for it. I'll have to look at the pics on my other computer to see what I had for it.

Glad to see it again. Would love to see you finish it.?

Enough with the hijacking of your thread, let's get back to your build.

Does your hood open or are you building it without an engine?

I was having a real problem with the hood cracking when I polished the paint that I did have on it. Jimmy Flintstone cast me a couple hoods , but just couldn't get one to fit right . Ended up molding it all into one piece.May make a tilt front end or just stick a blower on top of the engine and cut lines in to look like a tilt front end.  Just really want to finish it and look good.

I hear that! I look forward to seeing it done. I think a plain hood would look better, but it isn't my model. I'm sure whatever you do will look good..

I was playing around with mine and discovered that the custom hood from the Revell '67 Vette Coupe would be very easy to fit into the MM body, and I could lose the stupid valley look. When I get around to building mine, that's what I'm gonna use. (Planning to glue it in solid and build curbside, but I don't see why it couldn't be made openable with a little extra work.)

I have these if you want one. Not sure if they would fit!20180314_213131.thumb.jpg.9925b9718d93e74d0c10eec5258e4f62.jpg
