crazyjim Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Just finished this 1969 GTX and used Tru-Color metallic lime green on it. Used Rustoleum texture paint to "undercoat" the chassis.
Jmaracing Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Super sharp looking build Jim.great paint work and all around build.
Snake45 Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Very nice! And it's still not too late to shoot the lower body in the the GTX signature matte black, which IMHO would REALLY sharpen it up!
Flatout Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Great looking Pro Street GTX Jim, the green is really nice.
PARTSMARTY Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Great color-Great build-off the charts beautiful and of course a -'MOPAR"-congrats Jim !!!
PARTSMARTY Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) On this particular version of this build-i think it looks so much better without the black rockers.Just like it is-it flows so smooth-right on my brother and i'm a stoned solid mopar fanatic !!! Edited March 2, 2018 by PARTSMARTY
crazyjim Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Thank you Snake, Pete, Jeremy, Keith, Carl, Chris, Marty, Mark, and Christopher. There won't be any black going on it.
Jantrix Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 "A Study in Green" by Jim Stepanek Excellent work. I really like this one. How do you do that washer fluid bottle so convincingly?
crazyjim Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Thanks Rob. Washer fluid bottles get painted with Testors flat white and then flat light blue painted on the bottom half. Substitute zinc chromate for the blue when doing radiator overflows.
DumpyDan Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Real nice, great color and real nice looking paint job
