mrmike Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 This is my '65 Fleetside Pickup painted with Tamiya TS-92 Metallic Orange with a Model Master Flat Interior Tan and Tamiya XF-10 Flat Brown interior. The wheels and tires are from the Revell '62 Corvette kit and the Fleetside bed is from a Revell '64 Chevrolet Fleetside Pickup kit from fellow Classic Plastic Model Club member Barry. 1
mrmike Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 Thank you Terry, Jeremy, and Chris! Unfortunately, the more I look at this truck, the more I hate the mis-matched paint. I've decided to remove the bed and add another coat of Tamiya TS-92 Metallic Orange paint.
mrmike Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 Thank you Jim! That's just the way I like them...SHINY!

espo Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Beautiful looking build. I enjoyed watching this come together. Your color choice is one of my favorite, I presently in a rehab program to help me stop using that color on my builds for a while.
mrmike Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 Thank you David! I would like to suggest that you stay with the rehab program until they boot your butt out the door...
mustang1989 Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Paint looks great as does the wheels and stance Mike!! Good work buddy!
Mercuryman54 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Mike, Excellent build! I thought the mismatch might have been lighting! Sometimes light messes with paint/reflections! But since you own it, built it and have it right in front of you, you would know!! Dennis
mrmike Posted May 3, 2018 Author Posted May 3, 2018 Thanks Dennis! No tricks caused by lighting or reflections. Just not enough paint on the left side of the bed.
mrmike Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 Thank you Carl! I have repainted the truck bed and took new pictures this morning.
