Lawn mower in a kit?

I know that there was a lawnmower in a kit that I seen but I can’t remember what it was. Dose anyone know what kits came with a lawnmower?

Seems that I remember a "Wheel Horse" riding mower that was included in a few kits, back in the sixties. Not sure which kits. I'll see what I can find out.

Technically speaking, no riding mower is included in either of the Indy kits. As stated on the box, it's merely a tractor, and you'd need to come up with your own mower deck and vertical shaft drive and belts for it.

Thanks guys. And AFX I just need the tractor part of it as I want to biuld a race mower and they don’t have mower decks.

For anyone that does want an actual mower, Kubota made a 1/24th scale die-cast rider that was nice for its size. They actually did a few 1/24th scale pieces.

Luckily I only paid about half of that at the local dealer. Got a nice 4-wheel utility vehicle too.

Scale Equipment LTD offered a mower deck for that tractor, as well as a snow plow blade.

Went out and bought a Wheel Horse last week. She looks rough but runs like a champ.

So my dad has only had two Wheel Horse tractors since 1968.  His latest one is a 312-8 that I believe was built in 1985.  Mowed with it yesterday.   Very similar to yours JC.  I have a newer 315-8 Classic that was built in 2005 that is very like new.  It only has like 250 hours on it.  My dad's had to be one of the last before TORO bought Wheel Horse  as it was still built in South Bend Indiana.  I think my newer one was built in Minnesota.

BTW his 1967 Wheel Horse he bought in 1968 was a 12 horse very similar to the one in the Indy Car kit.

there is one in an airplane kit too but no mower deck, but I think its a smaller

Went through my workbench and organized my parts and kits the other day, I found the resin mower deck and snow plow for the tractor that I bought from SE Ltd years ago. Gotta dig out the tractor and get them done!

I love this little stuff the kits came with....slowly adding to my collection of them...too slowly.  They make great diorama items too....dirt bikes..rider mower...go carts...mini bikes..scale figures...shop equipment...gas station related items...tools...campers...etc.....I have a soft spot of these things myself.

I have a bag kit of the square bodied Lotus that is missing the tires and chrome. I do have the decal sheet and there is nothing for the tractor, unless it had a decal sheet of it's own.
