rickcaps55 Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Hi I just got his new 65 442 I have ordered kit's from Dave for over 15 years now he has quality kits and his delivery is really fast for resin most resin guy need 8 to 14 weeks but I got my kits with in 15 to 20 days and some times faster it really depends on how you pay if you use a credit card it's faster if you send a check he waits till it clears I would do the same ting if it was me but any way if you like the kit get it you will be happy with it like I said I have a lot od his kits and he is a good guy to deal with. I hope this helps.
peter31a Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Bill, there are 2 MCW's. Dave Dodge started off selling paint and then got into the resin business. He eventually sold off the paint business. I believe the one in Ohio is the new owner of the paint side and Dave is in N.C. selling resin.
drodg Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I have bought paints from MCW for years when Dave owned it and I have bought at least one resin kit from him that was beautiful. I actually have never heard anything negative about the resin kits and the paints.

Mike Miller, proprietor of Wings, Wheels and Waves, bought MCW Auto Finishes. If you're going to order MCW paints, use this order form or call (330) 830-7755 to make a phone order. You'll need to peruse the paint listings at MCW because WWW doesn't list them on its site.
Gizzy Posted May 9, 2018 Author Posted May 9, 2018 Thanks for the replys, now it makes sense finding 2 different web sites.I'm gonna order the body I want,I'll let you know how it goes ?

Reshaping the rear window opening to the correct shape and will thin and slant the door posts to correct the angle. Dave's casting are very nice and I have about 20 of them
mikemodeler Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 I have a couple of his resin kits and they are very nice. As others have said, he sold off the paint business and concentrates on resin kits. Order without worry, he produces some nice resin kits.

carrucha Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 A couple of years ago I bought a 1962 Chevy Biscayne and a 1951 Chevy coupe. They were both good quality. The Biscayne kit was missing the glass and he promptly sent me the missing glass so he stands by his products. I would definitely buy resin kits from him again.
bytownshaker Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I have purchased numerous parts from Dave and all of them were great, I ordered a 65 Plymouth also and it was cast the day after I ordered it. Great communication also. Highly Recommended.
