I've been working to enlarge the hole to get more recess Alex. We'll see how much I can obtain. I'm happy with the size of the cap.

Or maybe just bevel the edges of the cap to allow it to fit better inside the opening.

Thinned semi-gloss black 3-parts thinner to 1-part paint and flowed it into the recess of the Fuchs wheels.  Not a traditional look for a 944 or even Fuchs but I like it.

They look AWESOME though!!.....its YOUR imagination anyway!!

Good idea. I think those silver-only Fuchs rims are mostly lacking some depth (or black inside painting...), so you did just the right thing!

Really enjoyed reading this thread in one go. I'm pretty new to modelling, so this level of customisation/scratch fabrication is awesomely impressive. The 944TR needs to wheel it's way to the front of the bench for completion!
