StevenGuthmiller Posted January 2, 2019 Author Posted January 2, 2019 New Years Eve consisted of nothing more than king crab and snow crab legs. Today was a late lunch/early dinner of a bacon cheeseburger at Texas Roadhouse. Steve
Rodent Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Stumbled across a recipe for "pesto" that uses an avocado . EVOO, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cilantro, basil, parmesan, and an avocado in the food processor. It was amazing, very creamy!
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 I guess I've been hoarding my food pics for a while. I have three new dishes to add to the thread from the past couple of weeks. Chicken Piccata. Orange Chicken. Sirloin Steak with Blue Cheese Compound Butter. Steve

Steve I browned it in a skillet and finished in in the oven. I normally cook it on the grill. Patio has standing water and wet nasty leaves from the last storm right now, so I didn't want to deal with that. It came out OK! There are enough Muslims in the area (can I say that on here?) that many of the markets carry awesome cuts of Halal lamb. Chops on the grill are awesome as well!
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 A greasy pan-fried 1/2 pound cheeseburger, on slabs of heavy whole-wheat bread, smothered in melted sharp cheddar + Hellmann's, Dijon, and cracked pepper. Need about a 3-hour hike to clear my arteries now.
ewetwo Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 I keep forgetting to take a pic. Last night was roasted boneless pork loin with Aldi's Stonemill "Kicked-Up Chicken" seasoning. It's a tasty seasoning with a little heat. Gravy. Cranberry Dressing. Chunky applesauce. And pea and corn. Same dinner tonight.
