Hi. I was wondering what model I could Use to do a dodge demon clone. It’s almost impossible to find a demon model these days, wish they would do a release.  Someone recently was selling a resin front grill, I’m not sure how I would handle the rear lights etc.  thanks. John

Depends on how good your skills are.

IMO the easiest to locate route would be take a LA Dart kit, cut the front end off it  and graft it to a AMT 1971 Duster. Hardest part would be making the tail lights

or just buy one of several resin bodies avail out there

For the hassle, you really probably are better off just getting a resin body. The conversion from the LA Dart and ‘75 Dart Sport kits will be tricky and imperfect at best (how would you do the tail panel? And also- the LA Dart kit has no front bumper). Some resin bodies available are mastered to use the AMT 71 Duster kit as a base; that’s a bit of a better kit detail- wise than the ‘75 Dart Sport...

Im referring to the original 70’s dodge demon.  Thanks for all the responses especially the one re: bandit resins. I’ll check to see if the resin version exists.

The one pictured is a copy of the original kit.  The front wheel openings are incorrect (they're carried over from the Duster; 1:1 had Dart fenders, front and rear wheel openings are a mismatch both in shape and detail).  The kit's hood is too flat also, as the underside tooling was shared with the Duster, right down to the center bulge (the Demon hood is flat down the center but extremely thin there as a result)....
