Greg Myers
There are, of course all the "Parts Pac" kits. https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/partspacks.htm There are also some other kits. A few taken from existing full kits, the engines from Lindbergs Double Dragster in 1/8th scale, for example. I believe these were marketed for the R/C crowd. There were A few others, MPC did some in 1/10 scale. And of course all of the see through kits,https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/visible-engines.htm starting with Monograms "Customizing Auto Engine and the ubiquitous Visible V-8. Greg Myers
There are also a plethora of 1/6th scale die cast kits from the likes of Liberty, Revell, Hawk and Testors.

Twokidsnosleep
Have not seen those Hemi engine kits before, cool I have a few myself..... these were pulled from the Pocher kits of the time into stand alone engine kits Edited July 4, 2018 by Twokidsnosleep
SfanGoch
The original Renwal V-8 available on ebay. Priced at $129.99 with free shipping. Pretty good price and it's complete. Renwal The Visible V-
unclescott58
The good old Renwal Visible V-8 was one of those great kits, until Revell got a hold of it, and simplified it. Eliminating the electric "starter" motor and light up spark plus. If they would ever restore that kit back to its original glory, I easily would buy another one. SfanGoch
You have the chance right now to snag the original. You'll hate yourself if you don't.

tbill
Oh man, I remember getting the revell visible engine as a kid (11 or 12 years old), built it myself, and it actually worked ( let’s face it, at that age we were using tube glue and slathering it on), no idea what became of it, and would get another if I could find the motorized version ‘locally’ for reasonable money. Greg Myers
The Double Dragster engines I spoke of originally are from Parma, an R/C supplier. Here are some examples of the Double V-8 kit mislabeled Chevy. They also did a copy of the Garlits HEMI, same kit.
Greg Myers
These are the kits the motors originally came in. I believe the Parma kits are actually motorized as well, a small plus.
LDO
I think the Pocher Volvo truck engine would be a great start for a 1/8 scale pulling tractor. Two would be even better.
