It doesn't hurt to keep looking. My guess is that maybe these were in Hobby Lobby's main warehouse somewhere and they sent them out to their stores to fill up some space? Hopefully more of those Chargers (and other recent kits) will hit the streets again!

You could always talk to somebody in a Local Hobby Lobby store- they might have a means of doing a stock transfer from store to store. Tell them there are a few of these in Princeton, NJ (how do you know? A friend in Princeton told you...), they could maybe check inventory and have it transferred to your store...

I think their home office / warehouse is in Oklahoma City, and I think it would have to go there first, so it might take awhile. I found all of this out because I was looking for a racing set for one of my daughters for Christmas once year, and they told me they could transfer it, but it had to go to Oklahoma City first, which would take about 3 weeks. I ended up driving to another HL about 40 miles out fort the racing set instead, since it was about 2-1/2 weeks from Christmas by that point...

You could try purchasing from their web site. They're still showing them as if to be in stock. I think you may be able to use the 40% coupon also.

Both excellent ideas that I will look into. Thanks guys.

You know, I walked every aisle in our Hobby Lobby and did not see a single pizza anywhere in the store!

It was on Clearance

Stopped back in today and looked at the stickers for the new items(automotive). Round2 69 442, 70 Vette, both Batman vehicles, Chrysler 300, Chevy Cameo p/u, 66 Mercury and 66 Fairlane all on the way. Many of those have been available elsewhere for a little while but it’ll be nice to get ‘em for around $18 with coupon. Interestingly, there’s also a space for the Revell Greased Lightning ‘48 Ford. Hope this is a positive sign for the future distribution of their kits. We’ll see I guess.

You just never know with Hobby Lobby.  Last Fri. a HL store about 25 miles from me had the stock Revell '70 Charger (pink car on the box).  The closest HL to me, which just opened about 3 months ago, had no stock Chargers left.  There was still a shelf for them, so maybe they're just waiting for a re-stock.  But that store did have the "Fast & Furious" black '70 Charger.

I was on a bit of a road trip and stop at a HL. I found the baja bronco which has skyrocket in price and 2 of these Scouts. Model car round up dont have these Scout for release until September.  Bought them both.

I seen the Scout also. There's still a few Broncos near me.

Stopped by my HL after work and they did have a Revell 70 Charger RT that they had never had there before, along with the 66 GTO.. Unfortunately I didn't have the funds to pick either up.

Picked up the Charger tonight!

I plan on checking in and finding some new stuff this weekend. I missed out on the Scout years ago and I really want one now. As for the Bronco, they only have the totally stock first issue, the Baja is all gone.

I went by my HL on Monday and there were a lot of empty shelves and no sales.  I did notice that they have rearranged the area where the model cars are so I am looking forward to them getting some new cars on those shelves so I can use a 40% coupon to grab some things I don't already have.  I went by our local Hobby Town last night and they have a great selection of cars, paints and supplies.

Just stopped at the Seabrook, NH store. The lady working was rearranging the shelves and putting in new labels; she said the new stock was coming in soon. I'll stop again on Friday when I'm driving through.

Just stopped by the closest Hobby Lobby today (Seneca SC).  It only had 2 new kits not there last week:  the '55 Chevy Cameo with Coke machine/dolly, and the '58 Edsel.  No '40 Ford Sedans yet.

The Chevy Cameo was priced at $32.99, the '58 Edsel was the usual $29.99.  A '59 El Camino "Art Box" kit on the shelf was also $32.99.  I have a '79 Impala "Art Box" kit that I bought about a year ago at HL, clearance priced at $19.  Its original sticker price was $31.99.  So prices have crept up about $1, I guess.

When the "Art Box" '40 Ford Coupe came out a few years ago, I was still living in Los Angeles.  That kit was available in either white plastic or orange plastic.  A local hobby shop got in 2 big stacks of those, one in white and one in orange.  The molded-in-white kits sold out very quickly.  The orange ones stayed on the shelves for months, until the store finally discounted them to clear them out.

Just picked up the Baja @ 29.99 , I believe the stock one was 26.99. Paid 20.00 with 40% off. Saw the new set up sheet. The 66 Fairlane GT and Coca Cola Cameo are coming. Should be here by the end of the month. Also I believe a 67 Plymouth. Hoping for the cattle and Coke trailers but no luck.

I was just at a local HL. Three employees were remodeling the model aisle, new paint chip strips in the Testors case for new colors coming, and one employee showed me their stock arrangement sheet; a page with color thumbnail pics of all the coming kits and where they go on the shelves. Included were all the Revell kits - the Baja Bronco, Foose FD100, '70 Charger, Big Game country/High Roller GMC, basically all the kits that are blowing up on eBay. Don't be impetuous, just wait for them to come back in stock. Let the online crowd pay way too much, they seem to like that.

That's good info Mike, thanks. I could use the GMC and the Baja Bronco in my stash, picked up the Charger there just the other night.

That is good info...unless you're a speculator.  Keith, if you just want a GMC pickup, check my post in Trading.  I have the GMC pickup with snow plow, but I removed the snow plow and the gas can for another project. I also have the Big Game version; might trade that one, if you can live without the gun rack and gas can.

My HL had the new Testor colors last week. Every time they change this display, it gets worse. Useful favorite colors are gone, and many of the new ones have no use I can imagine. Who is picking these paints?

The Seabrook store has been restocked. I picked up the Scout and 65 El Camino yesterday. They have the 40 Ford Sedan, Edsel, 66 Fairlane, 55 Cameo, etc. Also stickers for the Greased Lightning Ford. Still have some stock 70 Chargers but I bought their last Baja Bronco a few weeks back and they haven't had any in.

A bunch of glitter junk of no use to any modeler.

In other news: Mine now has the '65 Elky, '55 Cameo, '66 Fairlane, '70 Corvette, and a couple other AMT things. They had two of the pink stock '70 Chargers on the shelf. Knowing some of y'all are looking for them, I almost bought one just for swap fodder, but then remembered that these seem to be showing up in some other stores, too, so decided not to take the chance (I have no interest in this car, myself). Ended up buying a '65 El Camino with my coupon, not that I don't already have two or three unbuilt copies of this kit (and a couple nice diecasts, too). It's a sickness.

I stopped in the O.P. Ks stores last week and only picked up another Suburban kit. I'm not into Die Cast but they had several new issues including a '65 2+2 Mustang in 1/25th. They had some other cars including a great looking black Datsun 510. Just thought I would mention the Die Cast for those who enjoy them, these looked almost good enough that I considered buying the 510.

I was at my closest HL on Saturday. They had 1 scout,  the 65 el camino, 40 Ford, 55 Cameo, Pink Charger, and they still have a couple baja bronco kits.  I though about getting them but it would have been full retail cause i'd be getting a kit myself. Not sure if anyone would want to pay full retail and shipping cost for it.
