Time for a supercar. I am going to practice my painting on this one. Maybe I shouldn't have said that, it might have jinxed it. Starting body prep.

Nice kit,but I've heard it's a difficult kit to go together, what's your color choice?.

I’ve a feeling you are right Curtis, it took me several minutes to figure the first part I assembled. The colors were to be my next post.

By the way,are those fires close to you?

It'll likely be one of these colors. The darkest one is Model Master Acrylic Gunmetal.

No,the fires are a few hundred miles away, last summer was a different story we were covered in thick smoke for the entire summer:mellow:

I had this kit. Pretty sure I traded it off to someone here. I think. Uh oh...am I at that point where I really have no idea what's in the stash?

Anyway, the R8 is a great subject.

Watching.

I did the Spider version for a totally OUT OF BOX build, nothing extra! Great kit, I think you'll really enjoy the coupe version.

Nice build going, thanks for sanding the mold lines off the drive shaft (thumbs up emoji)

I think it is because I thinned it out with Tamyia'a acrylic thinner. Now since I don't have any of Model Master's, what household product should I use. Rubbing alcohol?

After a couple of futile attempts to use the Model Master Acrylic Gunmetal I decided it would be blue

Primed a few things for the next round.
