I started with an old box of parts from a "Moving Violation" kit & an Ollies 37 Ford kit. The chassis is from the 37 Ford & cab from the Willys. I cut the rear fenders from a 40 Ford coupe kit to use for the bed. Gonna go old ratty tin on new running gear. This is what I have so far...

I started to build the bed. I used the sides from a 50 Ford pickup & the 40 Ford coupe rear fenders. I had to widen the fenders a little & made the inner fenders.

Thanks guys. I got a little paint on & it's way too clean, but it wont be for long. Gonna build a wrecker boom for it too. I just can't stop building tow trucks.

This is really cool, I like the idea of creating a better box than the Willys originally came with. Great job on the weathering, too.

I saw this at the Goodguys show today, looks awesome in person!

That's funny, I sold it to a guy 2 weeks ago on ebay & I sent it to Colorado. I hope he won something with it because he spent a pretty penny on it.
