Another gorgeous build,  Tulio. Regarding the lindberg kits, the 40 Ford is an ex Palmer kit. The 53 was tooled during the renaissance era when the late George Toteff (ex AMT/MPC) took over operations. There are several nice kits from that era.

The cars from this period have such fine lines, and your scale model build has captured this perfectly, with paintwork to be proud of. So far I have not built a Lindberg kit myself, but seeing this one of yours Tulio has made me think I would like to build one soon!

Thanks Dave. I actually didn't know the Lindberg '40 Ford is a Palmer kit. It's a bad kit, but being a Palmer, it's little wonder of accuracy, and proportion.
Never the less, the popular saying was true to me. First impressions and so on. That kit kind of "killed" my desire to build a Lindberg kit. Even tough, I actually bought some Lindbergs, as I tend to buy every kit of a Ford car I can find. This '53 I had for a very long time, still sealed in the factory wrap. Seeing a 1:1 '53 Vicky on the street was what got me curious to see what was inside the box. And what a surprise I had!!

Thank you very much sir.

Just don't get their 1940 Ford. It's bad. A LOT of work will be in demand to build a presentable car. If you want a '40, get the AMT.

The '53 Ford kit is awesome, real good. I'm now building the Convertible, and it goes together like a dream.

Thanks Tulio, I will remember to get the AMT kit of the '40 Ford and not the Lindberg, but the Lindberg '53 kit is good.

Good luck with your build !

Very nice Ford. I have the convertible in my stash. I'm planning on building it as a mild custom. I have painted it Sunrise Red Pearl I believe the color is called.
