Mike 1017 Posted September 15, 2018 Posted September 15, 2018 Today in SA there is an article about Revell obtaining a warehouse in Northlake IL. Along with new releases.

mikemodeler Posted September 15, 2018 Posted September 15, 2018 Great article, thanks for sharing it Casey. I did notice that there was no mention of R&D in the US, hopefully someone like an Ed Sexton can be used to bring new subjects to the market.
Richard Bartrop Posted September 15, 2018 Posted September 15, 2018 (edited) So it sounds like they're back in business exactly when they said they were. This is very good news. Edited September 15, 2018 by Richard Bartrop
iamsuperdan Posted September 15, 2018 Posted September 15, 2018 So although the initial kit announcement doesn't excite me, I think it's a very good thing that they are back and actually releasing kits. And did I read that right? The Chevelle is a brand new mold? New kits are a very good thing.

Plashdaddy Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 I hope that Daytona comes to Australia. Here’s hoping!

If an US R&D unit doesn't materialize, one can hope the German one will produce kits of subjects relevant to the american market. They did the VW bug, the Rabbit and various Ferraris. If you hold your breath for long enough you might even get a Buick Opel. Remember those?
espo Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I have seen pictures of Opel's of more resent vintage that looked interesting. They may even sell more BMW's and Mercedes than they realize. I'd like to see some of their "Shutting Brake" models and a nice Audi would work.
