Casey
If Round2 could find the inserts for the Ventura II Sprint version... Edited November 1, 2018 by Casey
unclescott58
One I'd like to see come back. One of my "holy grail" kits.
W-409
I agree, this would be a must have kit for me. But somehow I'm afraid that it won't happen at least in the near future. That Ventura would make an excellent Stock Eliminator car...
espo
While I have the original issue of this kit from AMT, I bought a resin body from Jimmy Flintstone some time ago. The detailing on the casting is at least as good as the original AMT kit plus the fenders and grill are cast in place. The bumpers and headlights are a separate casting and sperate red tail lights are provided. The body is very thinly cast and would require minimal cleanup, no more than the plastic body it was based on. The inner fender areas look as good as the kits. This can be built using any of the early AMT Nova SS kits.
Fat Brian
A friend of mine has a Ventura and was wanting me to build a replica of his real car. I'm planning on dropping the resin JF body on the new Revell Nova chassis.

casassa
I have a resin Ventura kit from Time Machine Resin. It's pretty nice. I don't think he has a website anymore. He's an eBay seller -t.m.resin. I don't see any current listings, but it looks like he had a bunch that closed last week. JIM
1972coronet
Hart's Parts makes a resin conversion for the AMT '72 Nova SShttps://hartspartsresin.com/product/amt-72-pontiac-ventura-conversion/ (erroneously referred to as a 1969 in his description) . If Hart's 1968 Hemi Dart interior conversion ( correct "blank" door panels ; correct block-off-heater-and-radio plated dashboard ; and , correct Bostrom bucket seats : https://hartspartsresin.com/product/revell-68-dodge-dart-hemi-interior-conversion/ is any indication of the quality of his work , then you won't be disappointed by the Pontiac Ventura II pieces . Ron Hamilton
I had that kit as a teenager, wishing it was a Nova, as we were Chevy fanatics in my neighborhood. I wish I had it back. However, I was able to purchase a resin Transkit several years ago. One of these days.
socal76
Ron, since you have so many other projects on the bench, I think you should just send it to me. I can send you postage money after you get it in the mail and know just how much the postage was!! LOL
