Jim N Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 There comes a time where it's just best to waive the white flag and call one done. The car body is a JNJ resin with an early 90's Monogram Pontiac as the donor for the rest. The paint is Dupli - Color Linen White. The blue is Wal Mart's brand of Royal Blue enamel. The red on the nose of the car is I believe Rustoleum Apple Red. The car took a dip is Castrol Super Clean four times for various paint problems with the last three due to problems matching the red on the nose with the decals. I thought I had the red figured out with the spoon tests, but when the paint on the nose met with the decal on the hood, it was a no go. The decals are Powerslide. They went on fine, but it perplexes me as to why they did not make a decal for the nose of the car. If I remember correctly, the proprietor said it was too difficult to make a decal to fit the nose, except that's what I did. I lowered the ride height and used Bare Metal Foil for the spoiler. So anyway, without further adieu, here are a few pictures. Thanks for looking.
bbowser Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 That's a beauty. I remember the car being yellow, don't recall this scheme.
