ranma Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Started building the Freightline right after I finished the Paystar 5000 and it's dump gravel trailer. The cab /grill aren't glued together But this it's where I'm at on this kit.
tbill Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Looking good! I did one a few years ago, but went with green on the cab, may have to do another one, that white looks good.
ranma Posted January 5, 2019 Author Posted January 5, 2019 Couldn't sleep last night so I done some work on it still not done yet though.
TECHMAN Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Looks GREAT!!!!! And the choice to do the red engine, perfect choice!!!! DJ
leafsprings Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Nice work! Fleet trucks have always been my favorite, IMO, little to no chrome somehow always looks better. I wish AMT trucks came with wheel options, but luckily there are vendors like AITM which offer great 2 hand hole wheels which I believe CF used in the 70's thru mid 90's.
Vince66 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 What shade of red did you use on the frame. Nice looking Bob.
Pete68 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Looks good straight out of the box I also like that red engine when I was a younger my neighbor bought one of these old CF Freightliners it had a 903 cummins in it that he need for his 1975 White Road Boss and it was red I always wondered why it was red instead of beige. I finally found out later why. Your doing a great job
