stevez Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I've got Ed's Willys 41 pickup and it's as good as a Revell molding. Puts the other Willys truck resin bodies to shame (I bought the others as well)
RAT-T Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 AS FAR AS I KNOW ED IS STILL CASTING, JUST DOESN'T HAVE THE WEBSITE ANYMORE. ED FLUCK lowcab36@epix.net
futurattraction Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Bill - Ed is still casting. As Tom said, he doesn't have an active website but is still taking orders. He does my Fairmont castings for me and does a great job.
Dan Helferich Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 You can't ask for a better caster or person than Ed!
rickcaps55 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Hi yes Ed is still casting.I just placed an order for the new inter/parts he does for the Rev 50 Olds.He has great products you can,t go worng.
Toner283 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Another kudos for Ed and his stuff. The interior that he did for the new olds fits like kit parts. His stuff is great.
Bernard Kron Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Ed shows his stuff here: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/
gtx6970 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Reason, I asked . I bought about 3 or 4 resin sixpack style hoods for use on the AMT duster off ebay last fall. I was told they were drag city castings pieces , Yet I don't see them on his product list. I had already made one for myself when I bought them. so I bought all the seller had listed and just back burnered mine . But I now have more projects in mind that I may need a few more at some point. I might consider sending this one out to be cast but prefer not to if it's still avail I've been working on a couple different hoods and I think they all would sell well if avail. gtx6970 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Thanks fellas, The one piece I have looks and actually fits great. I just don't want to step on anyones toes in having a copy of mine done. So mine I may just keep and use it myself. I do have 2 other hoods in the works for later projects.
Casey Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Anybody know if he does any 1/16th stuff? Send him an E-mail at the addy Tom King posted above. JamesW Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Ed is still in business, but he has been going through some hard times. I've had an outstanding order with him for about 2 months. We've been keeping in touch and things are looking up for him, but he's still running behind on things.
