It doesn't appear much of anything has changed inside this kit over the years, save for the multi-spoke wheels in place of the original Halibrand(?) smoothies shown on the custom version. Pics of originals from ebay listings:

Nice to see the decal sheet. Gives a hint of what MIGHT be on the "Newly Expanded Decal Sheet" that Ronud2 Re-issues are famous for.  I could see my self building at least two of these kits, just to try out the huge variety of custom parts.

There is a lot to work with here. A lot of custom body parts, three hoods and more. I think I'd buy one.
