Randy Kern Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 I didn't have too much to put in the WIP section for this since it's a curbside, so here she is. The paint is Dupli-Color Orange Mist, with Rustoleum Decorator series Wheat interior. I had a '76 280-Z that was close to this color combo and like them together. The wheels and tires are an aftermarket set, that are pretty close to the original diameter. I also wanted to keep it close to the stock height, not get too big with wheels, just a nice, clean 5-spoke. Besides removing the head rests, the only other items I added were aluminum exhaust tips, embossing powder carpet, and R&MCo of Md pe badges. I also left off the back-up light and license light, and added a CHMSL. Thanks for looking!
ismaelg Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Randy, That looks great! I consider myself a Ferrari purist, but your color and wheel choice work refreshingly wonderful on it. Love it! Thanks,
MrObsessive Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 One of the most beautiful shapes ever to come out of Italy! (besides Sophia Loren! ) That is one fine lookin' machine Randy! I should put mine back together sometime as that is one of Fujimi's "easier" kits!
cruz Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Vicious!!!!! Love the color and that black top, everything really flows around the vehicle, great job as usual Randy!!!!

This and all your recent completions are super clean and just right on the money. Impressive stuff!!

lizardlust Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 At the risk of sounding like an idiot, GEE, THAT'S PURTY!!!! Beautiful finish, Randy - the interior is quite appealing as well!!!
RadRidesByDan Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 You now that a very odd color for a Ferrari....BUt It looks really Sharp....I like the different appeal to this car. Excellent choice in colors Bear
mikelo Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 That turned out really nice. Nice & clean build. Mike
stevegt738 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Now this is a real sweet build of one of the coolest Ferraris ever, to me anyway. The colour is so right on this, it should have been an option from Ferrari.
CAL Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 So I gone and do it. I didn't get the GTS but the GT Enthusist kit (I'm more of a coupe guy) 237 parts! What did I get myself into? I still fighting through the Revell 250 GTO
Nick F40 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 So I gone and do it. I didn't get the GTS but the GT Enthusist kit (I'm more of a coupe guy) 237 parts! What did I get myself into? I still fighting through the Revell 250 GTO Way to go!
