RodneyBad Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 For a Chevy Guy, You did a Excellent Job on a Honda. Paint and color is awesome. Love the Black wheels with the Red trim. Gotta build me one of those..
Randy Kern Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Now there's an original tuner way before they were called that (pocket rocket days). Neat little hot rod, James. It looks mean with those wheels. I worked with a guy who got one back when they came out ('84?) and he raced it showroom stock with good results. They are small in size, but quick!
ismaelg Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Nice job on that pocket rocket! It looks very cool. Back in my college days (late 80's early '90s) that was THE hot rod. It was very popular. Unfortunately way too many ended up underneath trucks, wrapping poles or hugging trees in street races. Thanks,
gary westervelt Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Nice job.Like what you done with the wheels.
ajulia Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Hello there friend! Yikes around here these are nearly impossible to see rollin let alone in scale form. Sweet take on a little fast car. But watch out the steering wheel is known to snap off while yer actually turning the car. My lil bro and I were rollin and then snap. Do you know this fool but a paiir of vice grips on and kept it moving. I laugh now but it wasnt so when it happened. Thank fer posting and keep on wit the keepin on! peace ajulia
Nick F40 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Yeah I wanted to post earlier but right now, watchin the Rolex race...but this is too cool, you know I watched this thing from the start and it turned out great. Love the colors and the wheels suit it nicely. I just love the syling of this version, so clean. Nice job on that pocket rocket! It looks very cool. Back in my college days (late 80's early '90s) that was THE hot rod. It was very popular. Unfortunately way too many ended up underneath trucks, wrapping poles or hugging trees in street races. Thanks, They still are and they are GREAT to autocross and road race, I'd love to get one. They are little hot rods but yes they are very small and you have to watch out.
Brendan Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Very nicely done car. Used to see a lot of those around when I was younger. It was a car that could literally be run into the ground. As long as you took care of the motor, that car would run forever. Everything else might fall off, but it would still run.

simonr Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Mine ended in my garage as my daily driver! Simón P. Rivera Torres Nice job on that pocket rocket! It looks very cool. RadRidesByDan Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Nice and not too over exagerated Tuner Build. Love the wheel and redline tire combo Nice job
Zoom Zoom Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Great model I like the custom touches. I knew someone who bought a new CRX Si in '86, what an incredibly FUN car to drive! Handled like a go kart and the acceleration was amazing. A true pocket-rocket!
MrObsessive Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Nice little model there! These have all but disappeared from U.S. roads! I thought I read somewhere that Honda was bringing back the CRX..........albeit a bit more modern for today's tastes. It's too bad they discontinued the original model--------the Del Sol just wasn't "it"!
Wildrice Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Very nice CRX. Great color and wheel choice.
kelson Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Sharp looking build ,really like how you did the wheels.
Dragon7665 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Great little X you got there A Buddy of mine has/had(Think he may still have it) a '91 that's a pretty durable little bugger for sure! He has always called it his little Throw Away car, and despite how much he has thrashed it, it has still come back wanting more..... At last that I heard about it, he drove it 2yrs needing Half-Shafts up front, and he just replaced them before they actually went out on him.... To me the '91's was the best of the Overall Design, and I have always wanted to build one in full size, but I would never feel comfortable in driving something that size(I used to ride in my Buddy's, but even then I couldn't do it for too long)..... Bill your thinking of the Honda Remix Concept http://www.thetorquereport.com/2007/05/hon...gives_us_a.html That was supposed to be released as the CRX-Hybrid eventually, but Honda recieved so many complaints about the design, and told(So many CRX Fans Wrote alot of complaints... I heard some were even at the Unveiling and Booing in the background, when Honda announced they want it to have the CRX Name ) that it should never wear the CRX Badge, so they have been franticly trying to redesign it so they could......
sfhess Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I think they're working on something more like this: http://automobiles.honda.com/cr-z/
Nick F40 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) now that is sweet looking and I like the name, CR-Z, I think i've seen that before..... Nice little model there!
