Can these kits be used to build Flat Bed Doubles?  I see the short, doubles from my office window every day, and I'd like to build some.

Or should I use the old Testors/Lindberg Flatbed kit, and build it as a shortie?

It should work, the floor is a separate piece so it would be a fairly easy modification.

I think they've been released - there's plenty on E-bay with the buy it now option.  I'm tempted to get one, but I have a large stash of kits that really needs to be reduced, not increased.

They've been out for over a month now.  I'm guessing you're not seeing a "review" of them since they're just a reissue of something that's been around for 30+ years and has no new parts, and Casey already showed the decal sheet.
