B-Ram Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Finished my 49 Ford Coupe. It came from the AMT Gas Man kit. Nice kit. The kit offers lots of options. Bill
peter31a Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Very cool! She looks like she's ready for a pass down the drag strip.
TooOld Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Very cool ! Love the Hot Rod Primer with red wheels , nicely done !
slusher Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Really nice! one of my favorite cars and models Friend!
Jantrix Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Looking good. Some bare metal foil on the trim would really improve the realism.
B-Ram Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 I agree, but most of the trim would be less than 1/32”. That would be hard for me to do. If it is wider, it would take away from the realism also. I may try to paint the trim on.
espo Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I like everything about this. You have the perfect stance. The wheel and tire combination and of course a little extra in the engine room.
B-Ram Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Thanks for the comments and encouragement. I haven’t been able to build much over the past few years, but I’ve just retired, so I plan to knock the rust off and get back to building. Thanks, Bill
Spex84 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Very clean build of a back-to-basics hot rod! Congrats on the retirement
restoman Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Very nice! One of my favourite kits, and you did a bang-up job with it.
GaryR Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Looks great. Don't sweat the trim I usually don't like primer, but this looks cool.
